LanzAbility A Team Disability Expo 2023. Four members, all in blue t shirts, stood in a line and smiling in front of their stand.

On the 6th and 7th July 2023, specialist holiday provider LanzAbility attended the Disability Expo event at the ExCel in London. We showcased our inclusive and tailored services for individuals with disabilities, which involves creating accessible holiday experiences to Lanzarote.

The LanzAbility team had a fantastic time at the Disability Expo. As our team of five members are scattered all over the UK, getting the whole team together in one place was a highlight in itself – but that’s not all.

We had lots of fun introducing visitors to LanzAbility and showcasing our adapted holiday experiences for people with disabilities on sunny Lanzarote. Even though it was summer in England, we could tell people were craving a sunbath.

Meeting Paralympic Champion Aaron Phipps

We also made some incredible connections that will propel us forward. One of the highlights was meeting the remarkable wheelchair rugby player and Paralympic gold medalist, Aaron Phipps, who graciously donned our LanzAbility polo shirt for an unforgettable photo.

Aaron was the first person in the world to climb Kilimanjaro in a wheelchair without assistance,   something that many able-bodied people would consider a challenge beyond their capabilities. It’s an honour to have someone with such incredible achievements support our mission!

LanzAbility continues to provide adapted holidays

Our team is now busy following up on the leads and contacts we made, ensuring that our mission to provide adapted holidays for individuals with disabilities continues to reach those who need it most.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited our stand and supported LanzAbility at the Disability Expo 2023.

Together, we are making a positive difference and empowering individuals with disabilities to explore new islands and create unforgettable experiences.

Advertise With Crip Life™

Crip Life™ Media PackThe Crip Life™ advertising strategy is “Pay What You Can (PWYC).” We know this is very different to most if not all, online magazines. PWYC is a business model that doesn’t insist upon set prices for its goods or services. Instead, it asks clients to pay what they feel the product or service is worth. We have taken this one step further by adding what you can afford to pay.

We want to place adverts for a wide range of clients. So, whatever the size of the organisation, if you want to share a personal story with our readers or promote a product or service, contact Joanna Baker-Rogers.

For more information on our advertising strategy, read our Crip Life™ Media Pack 2024. (If you prefer, we also have a Plain Text version). Also, view our Crip Life™ Advertising Offers 2024. (We also have a Plain Text version)
