Attitude is Everything, the disabled-led charity dedicated to improving accessibility in live music and events, has launched a revamped Live Events Access Charter as an interactive online platform. The new Charter is designed to support venues, festivals, music professionals, and artists with comprehensive resources, templates, and guidance to enhance disability inclusion.

Celebrating 25 years of advocacy and inclusion in 2025: A landmark development for accessibility at live events

At a special event on  13th February 2025, at London’s Sinfonia Smith Square, Attitude is Everything introduced the new Charter to an audience of 200 guests, partners, and supporters. The event was sponsored by LIVE, PRS for Music, PPL, Halo, and MPA and included live performances and a panel discussion featuring industry leaders and accessibility advocates.

Since 2000, Attitude is Everything has trained over 10,000 creative professionals, worked with more than 200 festivals and venues, and supported thousands of volunteers.

The Live Events Access Charter has been central to these efforts, helping event organizers embed disability equality into all aspects of their productions.

The importance of these developments was illustrated in a panel discussion moderated by Attitude is Everything’s Inclusive Communities Manager, Bee Grzegorzek.

This featured one half of the sister duo ALT BLK ERA Nyrobi BM, artist, filmmaker and previous Future Leader Shakira Alleyne, Accessibility Consultant and disabled artist Yiska, and peer mentor and Mystery Shopper Hanna Jehle.

The event also featured stunning live performances by the artists Auris Delan and John Kelly, both members of Attitude is Everything’s Next Stage Network.

What’s new in the Live Events Access Charter?

  • Support for artists and professionals with access needs through programs like Next Stage Artist Network and Beyond The Music

  • Real-time data tracking, allowing Attitude is Everything to identify industry gaps and advocate for meaningful change

Paul Hawkins, Interim Managing Director of Attitude is Everything, stated:
